PAVING THE WAY!

“Paving the Way”

– MAJOR work this week!

The company doing the work worked today filling in the last of the rocks in the upper circle area. They plan to do the cleaning and removal of loose asphalt on the main lot starting morning of May 22. Later, they will apply the binder layer on to the parking lot and then plan to pave the entire lot on Friday. If all goes well, they plan to stripe the lot on Saturday.

The parking lot will be closed all day and evening on both Thursday and Friday. On Saturday if they do the striping the lot would be closed until late afternoon.

Alternate parking is available on McCarron Rd. and Ahlstrand Rd. (east of Park Blvd. only). Note that Ahlstrand Rd. west of Park Blvd. does not allow parking from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days (Monday-Friday).

If you plan on watching the workers for more than a few minutes, you must wear a yellow safety vest as this is an active work site. John Pezl will have some vests on-site.

If you have any financial questions, please contact Rita Zapel. Project construction questions should be directed to Steve Kozich.

And on the subject of parking…
Handicap Accessible parking
If you need to use a handicap accessible space in the traffic circle on a Sunday and find the spaces all full and no valet parker, please double park your car by the entrance doors and bring the keys to Lanny. He will find someone to move your car and return your keys after it’s moved.
