The Presbyterian Readers invite you to read (and discuss) with us!
Presbyterian Readers will meet Wednesday, June 18, at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The book for June is Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro. “Set in the U.S. in an unspecified future, the book is told from the point of view of Klara, a solar-powered AF (Artificial Friend), who is chosen by Josie, a sickly child, to be her companion.” The author “looks at our rapidly changing modern world through the eyes of an unforgettable narrator to explore a fundamental question: what does it mean to love?”
Since we didn’t have enough people for a discussion last month, we invite anyone interested to stay on Zoom after the discussion of Klara to review The First Ladies by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray.
