Answering God’s Call
As we look ahead to the coming year, we invite you to prayerfully consider how you might continue to participate in God’s work through your giving. Whether it’s through your time, talents, or financial gifts, your support is vital to the life of our church and the fulfillment of our mission.

This year’s theme for Stewardship is “Answering God’s Call.” Our inspiration comes from Isaiah (6:8) where God asks, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” and the prophet Isaiah responds, “Here am I; send me!”. This verse is significant as it marks Isaiah’s acceptance of God’s calling to serve as a prophet. The phrase “Here am I; send me!” symbolizes a willing and obedient response to a divine mission.
As a fun way to get involved in this year’s Stewardship campaign, we are having a photo booth for people to enjoy. Please feel free to use your smart phone camera to take a selfie with any of the props available showing how you are answering God’s Call. If you send those pictures to photostory@southminsterpc.org with “Stewardship” in the subject line, we will include it in the slide show for each Sunday in October.
As you reflect on how you can answer God’s call, please take a moment to consider pledging your time, talent or finances as you are able. Your Stewardship pledge is a grateful response to all of God’s gifts, and you are a part of keeping the positive impacts from our ministries continuing in our community and beyond.
Please return your pledge card before October 31st so we can show our congregation’s participation progress by hanging an “Answering God’s Call” card for each pledge in the Narthex all month long.
