Southminster’s next Artist Reception includes a light lunch and refreshing beverages. June 1, at 12:30 p.m. after our Tailgate Parking Lot Celebration (more on that later!).
Current artists are Kathy Jacobsen, Carrie Peters, Sue Sander, Ron Biondo, Pat Kalbfeld, Mary Glaz, Jesse Lee, and Duncan Cory. Collectively the artists work includes the mediums of watercolor, watercolor with ink, acrylic and pastel.
Pam (Cather) Keller is a teacher in the College of DuPage Continuing Education program. She paints or draws nearly every day.
Pam has painted many private commissions and has offered her artistic talents for charity events, including 3-D outdoor sidewalk pieces for “Pets and Pals” in LaGrange. She is an active member at Gary United Methodist Church.
A unique commission was being selected to paint a 3-foot diameter golf ball for a public art project celebrating the inaugural U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship this summer at the historic Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton.
